Personal Information the App Collects
When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:Your shop name and shop contact email, this is only used for support and emergency contact purpose.
Draft Orders data, including the draft order ID, draft order Invoice number, last updated date, total price and linked customer ID (unique string), this is only used for the app functionality.
Unique Identifier (ID) of your customer, this is used to identiy each individual customer and show the corresponding draft orders to that customer, no personal identifiable information is being accessed
Draft Order Information the App Collects
For app functionality, the app collects information from the draft order, including the draft order ID, draft order name, last updated time, total price, linked customer ID, and checkout link.From the information above, none of the information are stored in the app database, they are retrieved on-demand from Shopify API when customers view the draft order listing page.
Customer Information the App Collects
The app collects the draft order's customer information (non personally identifiable information), including customer ID.The customer ID is used to identify the logged in customer, and shows the corresponding draft orders to the customers.
These customer information (customer ID) is never stored in the app database, the app will request these information from Shopify every time a customer visit the draft order listing page.
These customer information are only kept in ephemeral Random Access Memory (RAM) during access, and is immediately discarded after the draft orders information is retrieved and displayed successfully on the draft orders listing page.
Data Retention Period
For customer data (customer ID) and draft orders data , the app will request the data from Shopify when the app is loaded on the draft orders list page.When the app is loaded on the draft orders list page, the app will request the customer ID from Shopify, and the customer ID is used to identify the current logged in customer, and the customer ID will be used to retrieve draft orders data that are linked to that customers, and the customer ID and draft orders data will be discarded immediately right after the draft orders information is displayed successfully on draft orders listing page. (Retention period should be less than 5 seconds since being accessed)
Customer data is never stored in the app database
For the store data (store name and store contact email), the data is stored in database until the user uninstalls the app.
Data Security
We use HTTPS / TLS 1.3 (AES_128_GCM_SHA256) to encrypt the data in transit for the app, no customer data is ever stored in the database. The database only store the following data : your shop name and your shop contact email.Changes
